Braj Saints pay their last respects to Kripalu ji Maharaj in Vrindavan

All of the Saints of Braj and many other places came to the Shyama Shyam Dham ashram in Vrindavan during the Akhand Sankirtan held on 30th November 2013, to pay their respects to Shri Maharaj Ji, Jagadguru Shree Kripalu ji Maharaj. They offered their flower tributes to Jagadguru Shree Kripalu ji Maharaj during a ceremony. There was also 24-hour continuous kirtan at Shyama Shyam Dham and a parikrama of Shree Maharajji throughout Vrindavan. On December 2nd, there was Brahman Bhoj held at Prem Mandir, Vrindavan for Vishisht Sadhus of Braj; the following day Sadhu bhoj was held at Prem Mandir where around 7000 sadhus were given a feast, money and gift bags. The next day, all of Vrindavan’s 5000 widows were given a grand feast, money, lavish gift bags and medical assistance. Shree Maharajji has brought his visible pastimes to an end

With profound grief we inform all devotees that Jagadguru Shree Kripaluji Maharaj, who was the fifth original Jagadguru in the last 5000 years, brought his visible pastimes on the earth to a close and left for the Divine Abode of Shree Radha Krishna, on 15th November 2013.

Shree Maharajji, as he was lovingly called by his devotees all over the world, was the embodiment of Divine love. He revealed his Divine ecstacies in many thousands of kirtans, bhajans, and padas that he composed. He was also the veritable personification of the sacred knowledge of the Vedic scriptures, and his illuminating discourses were eagerly heard by crores of spiritual seekers around the world. 


The establisher of divine monuments like Prem Mandir, Vrindavan, and Bhakti Mandir, Mangarh, Jagadguru Shree Kripaluji Maharaj was an ocean of compassion, and he tirelessly worked for the spiritual upliftment of all humankind. His grace showered upon  fortunate souls who came in touch with him, irrespective of caste, creed, religion, country. The vast mission he established has hundreds of branches in many states of India and nations of the world. His charitable activities include establishment of numerous free hospitals, schools, colleges, and service projecs for the poor and needy.


His mortal remains will be placed at Bhakti Bhawan, Shree Bhakti Dham, Mangarh for the antim darshan by devotees and spiritual sadhaks from 8 am to 7 pm.

Shyama Shyam Nama Rupa Leela Guna Dhama,
Gao Rake Roop Dhyan Yukta Aathon Yama
This is the sovereign remedy for attaining God-realization in this age.

Worldwide Mission

It is Shree Maharajji’s vision that every soul should get a chance to practice Bhakti or devotion in its simplest form, so that the soul may attain its true goal of God-realization. In order to help people around the world in their quest towards this goal, Shree Maharajji began training devotee preachers and sending them to different parts of the globe. He also created a formal organization and began the construction of huge ashrams, to provide facilities for devotees who wished to practically apply the teachings in their lives. This organization is today known as the Jagadguru Kripalu Parishat.Every soul seeking divine love & bhakti realizes the infinite grace of Shree Kripalu ji maharaj.

Jagadguru Shree Kripaluji Maharaj considers service to society as a very important feature of his divine mission and contributes immensely to many causes of the nation and the society in general. He has constructed three fully charitable hospitals in Mangarh, Barsana and Vrindavan for the benefit of the poor and needy. Under his guidance and blessings, the organization has also established a charitable school and a women’s college for over 1000 students to bring high quality education for the underprivileged. He regularly donates clothes, utensils and other needy items to thousands of poor who throng his doorstep. Through the charitable organization, Shree Maharajji also touches many thousands of physically handicapped or differently abled persons with equipment to help them build a life of hope & happiness.
